As Sr. business process engineer/project manager you are responsable for the implemantation of new customers.

For our client Bleckmann we are looking for a Senior Business Process Engineer/Project Manager that will serve as the liaison between the customer community and the (technical) development teams. This person will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the project
stakeholders, including customers and end users.

This person will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the project
stakeholders, including customers and end users. 

The successful candidate will work closely with ,the customer, business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify the customer and business needs. Based on these needs he will propose the appropriate business processes and will translate these into functional requirements. He will define the implementation projects and will lead these projects to successful completion

The main responsibilities of the Business Process Engineer/Project Manager are:

• Responsible for defining and implementing appropriate business solutions with existing and future customers
• Documenting the functional requirements to support the solutions delivery
• Managing the (systems) development budgets & prioritisation in support to new solutions
• Creating & managing user groups to identify, prioritise and develop systems to support the solution
• Customer liaison to support all new IT system implementations
• Responsible for user acceptance testing and full system testing in preparation for implementation
• Creation and updating of all standard policies and procedures and documentation in relation to projects
• Regularly update and implement any training documentation and processes in order to support implementation
• Keeping all stakeholders informed at all times

Required Knowledge, skills & abilities:
• Communication capability at a senior / board level, both internally and externally
• Recognised general and people management skills
• Ability to plan, organize and execute work to meet customer and organizational deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple tasks / priorities
• Ability to build and maintain excellent (internal) customer relationships
• Ability to design and map business process
• Ability to logically analyse large volumes of information
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• Self-motivated, result oriented and perseverant approach is needed to be successful
• Project management skills
• Technical knowledge of supply chain operations, and project budget development and analysis
• Business knowledge of cost-benefit analysis, negotiation, projects implementation, time management and written oral communication
• Interpersonal skills to include customer focus, motivational skills, initiative, adaptability, leadership and versatility
• Intellectual abilities for visioning, problem analysis, problem solving and organization
• Strong knowledge in process definition techniques


Required experience:

• Project Management experience (>5 years)
• At least 6 years’ experience in Logistics, supply chain management or general operational management
• Strong knowledge in process definition techniques
• Experience in the delivery of system development & implementation projects.
• Process expert / six sigma qualified
• Experience in (Fashion) VAS business & processes
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, in budget and to quality targets set
• Extensive experience in multi-cultural business
• Organisational awareness (people, processes, culture)


Prefered experience:
• Manhattan PKMS/
• Project management tools
• Sorter and or PTL automation

Minimum educational level or :
• HBO/WO
• Industry project management qualifications
• Fluent use of written and spoken Dutch and English
